JETSTAR LAUNCHES NON-STOP FLIGHTS BETWEEN SYDNEY AND RAROTONGA

Following the announcement yesterday (30th December 2022) of the direct service between Honolulu and Rarotonga, Cook Islands Prime Minister, Hon. Mark Brown, has also announced that Jetstar is launching its non-stop flights between Sydney and Rarotonga, which will commence from 29 June 2023. This is after the delivery of 18 brand new A321LR (neo) aircrafts in May 2023.

The new service will provide two weekly return flights on Jetstars A321LR Airbus - a new generation, longer range and more fuel-efficient aircraft that can seat up to 232 passengers.

The flight will depart Sydney on a Thursday and Sunday at 9.30pm, arriving in Rarotonga at 7.00am the same day. The flight then departs Rarotonga at 9.00am arriving back in Sydney at 12.30pm the following day.

As an introduction to the launch, Jetstar is offering a special sale price of AUD$229 one-way in a 48-hour sale which started yesterday at 12.00pm (AEDT). Sale ends 11.59am (AEDT) 3 December 2022, unless sold out prior.

We are again extremely excited to have the Sydney Rarotonga flights back on our route network, and be able to provide non-stop services from Australia.
