Join Pa as he takes you across the island of Rarotonga and shares myths and legends, his knowledge of flora/fauna and their traditional and medicinal purposes. The Island Trek climb is quite steep to start with and becomes easier. Punarei Cultural Village Tour

The tour is a great way to discover the history, traditional skills, Art & beliefs of the Island of Aitutaki. Your guide will show you an old remedy of how to make traditional medicine using selected plants on site. Learn about traditonal sports, and how to weave coconut tree fonds. Another feature which the tour has to offer is learning the basics of the Cook Islands dance which is a perfect Cook Islands souvenir to take back home.

The tour concludes with a traditional feast (Umu kai) for lunch on site at the Cultural Village.

Anatakitaki Cave Tour
Your tour guide Marshall Humphreys has extensive knowledge of the Geography and History of the island and this shows in the way he presents his commentary along the trek. Anatakitaki Cave tour offers a unique opportunity to visit the only habitat of the indigenous Kopeka bird. The Kopeka, a tiny swift like bird lives in the dark interior of the cave only coming out to feed on flying insects like mosquitoes.

The swim in the underground water cavern is refreshing and a great way to end the cave tour.
